NORTHERN CAMBRIA, Pa. (WJAC) — The former site of a shirt factory in Northern Cambria is getting new owners.
According to the Northern Cambria Borough manager, the borough received three bids for the property and accepted one from Med-Van Transport.
The transportation company owns property across the street from the vacant lot.
Med-Van's bid also included a metal structure that sits on the lot.
The property was home to the former Phillip and Jones Van Heusen shirt factory but has been vacant for more than 10 years.
In March, the property was demolished by a collaboration of Northern Cambria and the Cambria County Redevelopment Authority.
